چکیده
An anisotropic Hydro-Mechanical-Damage coupled model was established in the framework of thermodynamics for saturated layered rocks, which contain arbitrarily-distributed cracks smaller scales and orientated bedding planes much larger scales. The proposed considers damage growth frictional sliding shear dilatancy planes, as well interaction between planes. Numerical implementation nonlinear developed based on TOUGHREACT, is a well-established simulator multiphase fluid flow reactive transport analysis. first validated with laboratory water injection test results rock blocks, then used to study effects rates, situ stresses processes at field scale, demonstrating importance consider variation multi-scale structures better understanding Hydro-Mechanical responses rocks.

A Pore-scale Hydro-mechanical Coupled Model for Geomaterials
We present a model for fluid-saturated granular media coupled flow and mechanical deformation. The fluid is assumed to be incompressible and the solid part is assumed to be a cohesive granular material. Forces exerted by the fluid in motion are determinated and applied to solid particles. We derive a finite volumes formulation of the flow problem and we couple it to a discrete element method (D...
متن کاملinvestigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures
deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...
A micromechanical finite element model for linear and damage-coupled viscoelastic behaviour of asphalt mixture
This study presents a finite element (FE) micromechanical modelling approach for the simulation of linear and damage-coupled viscoelastic behaviour of asphalt mixture. Asphalt mixture is a composite material of graded aggregates bound with mastic (asphalt and fine aggregates). The microstructural model of asphalt mixture incorporates an equivalent lattice network structure whereby intergranular...
متن کاملA TWO-STAGE METHOD FOR DAMAGE DETECTION OF LARGE-SCALE STRUCTURES
A novel two-stage algorithm for detection of damages in large-scale structures under static loads is presented. The technique utilizes the vector of response change (VRC) and sensitivities of responses with respect to the elemental damage parameters (RSEs). It is shown that VRC approximately lies in the subspace spanned by RSEs corresponding to the damaged elements. The property is leveraged in...
